- Shipping rates
Shipping charges on the Web can be a mystery. Other sites may ship each item you purchase separately or penalize you if products happen to come from more than one warehouse.
But at Jewellery-Amber.co.uk, we have nothing to hide.
Here is how we keep shipping fair:
- Base the cost on the total weight of your order
- Combine items based on size and shape to reduce as much
"dead weight" as possible.

- Delivery times
We ship to street addresses and Military APO/FPO addresses only (sorry, no P.O. boxes). We are an international shop and we accept all international
orders.

- USA & Canada: 5 - 9 working days
- South America: 9 - 12 working days
- Asia & Australia: 10 - 14 working days

Jewellery-Amber.co.uk accepts American Express, Diners Club, Discover, JCB, MasterCard, Eurocard and Visa cards. Credit cards are our preferred method of payment, mainly because it allows us to quickly verify your payment information and send your order on its way as fast as possible. Credit Cards also, in most cases, protect you from online
fraud. You will be charged in your local currency (PayPal payments) or in Polish currency PLN (Dotpay.eu payments).
- Payment security
Protecting your credit card information is our number one priority. That is why this web site uses state of the art 1024-bit
Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology to encrypt all of the data that you send us or that we send to you. The data is re-encrypted
and forwarded to our credit card authorization service provider. They then check with your bank to verify that the credit card
is both valid and that you are not exceeding your credit limit. If the charge is approved, they send us an authorization number
so we can let you know that your transaction was successfully completed. We've programmed the web page on which you enter
your credit card number so that a copy of that page cannot be saved in your browser's cache memory. This prevents anyone else from
being able to find your credit card information by searching that file. Amber-jewelry.co.uk does not print your credit card number on any reports
or save it in any of our databases.
- Risk
As soon as we have delivered the goods to your door you will be
responsible for them. We will only deliver goods to the address on the
order. From the time of receipted delivery of the goods, any loss or
damage to the goods shall be at your own risk. Any transit damage to the
goods, shortages or incorrect goods supplied must be noted on the
delivery consignment note at the time of delivery.
- Returns / Order Cancellation
All of our jewelry is backed with a 100% 7-day Satisfaction Guarantee. If you are not satisfied with your purchase, your first have to contact our customer service and complete this Form. Our customer service will give you all the data required to complete the return process. Please note, that in order to maintain the quality of the jewelry and process your return promptly, we have introduced the following requirements:
- The purchase must be returned in the original condition in which it was bought. You are under a duty to take reasonable care of the goods which means the goods must be unused and in their original, undamaged packaging.
- Please be sure to insure your parcel for a potential damage in shipping. You will be responsible for any damage in returning the shipment.
- If you received a free gift with your order, you must also return the free gift or you will be charged the purchase price of the free gift. This charge will be deducted from the credit applied to your account.
- Items that have been worn and damaged due to client negligence cannot be returned.
- Special orders and engraved items are not returnable. Please note, that if you require a ring with a size outside the UK standard J to Q range (US standard 5.0 to 8.5), this is classed as a "special order". If there was an error made on our part, we will happily exchange your order.
- Shipping costs are not refunded and may be deducted from returns originally shipped FREE or at a reduced rate.
- Earrings cannot be returned for hygienic reasons.
- In addition to our returns policy, under the Distance Selling Regulations, you have 7 working days (beginning the day after receipt) to return your order. You should contact our Customer Services within 7 working days of receipt of the item(s).
- We will refund the amount charged, in the currency that you were charged. If this is not your native currency, your bank may charge exchange fees, or a change in the exchange rate may have resulted in a difference in the amount refunded as compared with the amount you originally paid in your native currency. You have sole responsibility for any fees paid or losses incurred in this manner.
- Your refund will be processed as soon as we have received and accepted your returned item. Upon receiving your return, the item will be inspected by one of our Graduate Gemologists to confirm that the original item has been returned and that it is in acceptable condition.
- Time Limitation for Notification of Claims
Damage in transit: If goods arrive in a damaged condition you must make
a note on the carrier's delivery consignment note and it will be your
responsibility to inform us within 7 working days from delivery.
Shortages: It is your responsibility to sign for the correct number of
packages as shown on the carrier's delivery consignment note. Any
shortages must be noted on the consignment note and it will be your
responsibility to notify us within 7 working days from delivery.
Incorrect Goods: It is your responsibility to notify us of any
incorrect goods supplied within 7 working days from delivery.
Non-Deliveries: We will not accept liability for goods lost in transit
unless we are notified within 7 working days from the expected delivery date.
- Applicable Law and Jurisdiction
Customer agrees to comply with all applicable laws and regulations. These Terms and Conditions shall be construed, enforced and governed in accordance with the substantive laws of Poland without reference to principles of conflicts of laws. The sole place of jurisdiction for any cause or legal action arising out of or relating to these Terms and Conditions or any of Amber-jewelry.co.uk product's shall exclusively be Warsaw (City).
